About Calm Waters Counselling Services
At Calm Waters Counselling Services, I provide a safe therapeutic environment which is filled with warmth and authenticity, where you can focus on understanding those overwhelming feelings, manage challenges of life and work towards the rewards of finding the 'real you'. I work from a humanistic approach with therapy which is Person-Centred, recognising we are masters of our own destiny, free to choose and control how we live our lives. So you decide what to talk about in therapy.

I work with emotional issues; Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Addiction, Anger, Stress, Low Self Esteem, Family issues and Relationship conflicts, providing support through trauma, habitual thinking patterns, unhelpful behaviours. Therapy sessions will work towards, understanding how one's anxiety can reveal what matters most to a person, and a chance to learn and grow. How unconscious thoughts can open a window into the mind and what it's tries to communicate. Understanding Depression and the negative filter it places on how everyday life events are perceived when experienced and explore how they can be removed. As you make changes to the way you relate to self in your thoughts and feelings, and with others as you work towards a happier and full acceptance of self. With the knowledge that your wellbeing will remain paramount to any work done and continue to be throughout my primary concern during our therapy sessions.

I welcome the opportunity to talk and connect with you as we look to build an honest and genuine relationship together and begin our work to start unveil the real you. So knowing how scary this might be, I am happy to offer an informal 15 mins free introductory call so we can get to know each other. So why not call/drop me a message!
